What is an Ultra Compact material?
A material with an enormous durability. The main difference is the overall durability of ultra compact surfaces over other materials, and the durability comes from the extreme manufacturing process. The process is called “particle sintering” and involves drying, pressing, and heating refined powders to a temperature just below the melting point so the particles fuse together (typically +2100° Fahrenheit). The result is an incredibly hard material that performs really well as a worktop under normal and extreme circumstances.
